Gulu, the economic capital of Northern Uganda, is home to commerce, an airport—and St. Monica’s school, a haven for women and children in need. There, they learn the confidence and skills to survive and thrive. And there, this spring, we met up with former First Daughter Barbara Bush, and volunteers from Pros for Africa. Side by side, the Starkey Hearing Foundation team and our tireless partners worked to fit 3,300 Ugandans in need.
