Training in Ghana

December 04, 2015

We are proud to point out that more than 94 percent of our country coordinators live in the communities where they work, and we believe this is crucial to the success of our Community-Based Hearing HealthCare Program.

Through strong partnerships and by empowering our local teams, we are building sustainable systems of care that help people in need incorporate hearing aids into their daily lives and achieve their full potential.

To ensure our programs succeed, we provide continuous education to local coordinators to give them the tools they need to support their communities and ensure high quality patient care.

Recently, we completed training for this program in with our team in Ghana to best equip them to put our model to use.

This four-day training began with giving a full overview of our program, and then spent a day focusing on each individual phase. Coordinators were given both classroom education and hands-on practical training with patients under the supervision of our team.

With the skills they’ve acquired, we’re excited to see our Ghana team continue to grow and make a positive impact throughout their communities. Meanwhile, our team is continuing to train more coordinators to sustain our Community-Based Hearing HealthCare Program around the world.
