A Hand Up

Kelsey and Keith Becker had the honor of helping residents from Sociedad San Vicente De Paul (Society of Saint Vincent De Paul) in Santiago, Dominican Republic receive the gift of hearing and power of caring through Starkey Hearing Foundation’s missions. Our calling fits with the Society’s mission to serve seniors and provide them quality of life, dignity, and respect.

We enjoyed this group of seniors very much as you see Brendan, our chief of security and safety, escorting Luz Marie who raises her hand up in excitement and leads the brigade of seven seniors who we fit with hearing aids. A hand up is exactly what our founder, Bill Austin, states is the essence of our work.
