Reynosa, Monterrey, Matamoros, San Luis Potosi, Ciudad Madero

The team returned to the United States for a short break over the Easter holiday before hitting the road for a multi-city tour through Mexico. Our hearing missions in Mexico have become well-oiled machines thanks to our dedicated partners at Starkey Mexico and Rotary International. Joining the team to sponsor the gift of hearing were Delta Zeta Executive Director Cindy Menges and Martin and Val Elbin from NuEar.

In Matamoros, we met 103-year-old Ramon who charmed the fitting team with his enchanting smile. He was joined by a very special guest for his fitting — his great-great-granddaughter, who was just four months old. The two may be separated by more than a century in age, but with Ramon’s new hearing aids they are no longer separated by hearing loss. It was a special day for Ramon’s family as they were joined together through sound.
