Panama City

Panama City is a collision of cultures stemming from centuries of being a center for trade and immigration. It’s also a stunning urban setting filled with skyscrapers that is reminiscent of Miami but at the same time is a gateway to a breathtaking tropical rainforest.

Our hearing mission in Panama followed the trend of the highly mixed culture of the city as we were able to help hundreds of people coming from a vast variety of backgrounds.

While in Panama, we were thrilled we could help the Toribio family. All three sisters struggled with profound hearing loss, and their mother talked about the difficulties the family experienced when trying to communicate and connect.

Fortunately, our team was there to help, and we fit the three sisters with hearing aids. It was a powerful sight to see them communicating with their mother and their little brother, Lenin. We will always remember the smiles on their faces.
