For the second year in a row, Starkey Hearing Foundation spent their early fall season traveling across the nation of Peru to give the gift of hearing to thousands of people in need.

Our team had people in Peru whose hearing mission experience varied from their first-ever mission, to others with decades of experience giving hearing health care. However, they all returned saying the same thing: They were blown away by how thankful every patient was for the care they received.

Feeling gratitude from patients is nearly universal everywhere our team works, but in the case of the Peruvian people, many were already showing appreciation before even being seen, much less after receiving their hearing aids.

While we could not possibly begin to share all the moments that stood out to us across the cities we traveled to across Peru, take a look at some of favorite stories that will always remain with us.
