For nearly two decades, from 2001 to 2018, Starkey Hearing Foundation hosted the So The World May Hear Awards Gala, its annual red-carpet fundraising event. The gala brought together world leaders, actors, athletes, musicians and supporters for a star-studded night of celebration that shined a spotlight on the important work the Starkey Hearing Foundation does, and on the people – from volunteers to sponsors – who contribute their time and resources to deliver the gift of hearing around the world.

In 2019, Starkey Hearing Foundation reimagined the annual celebration and debuted a smaller-scale event: Summer Sounds. Both events were instrumental in raising significant amounts of funds and awareness for the Starkey Hearing Foundation and are fondly remembered as important and tremendously impactful elements of the organization’s history.
