Grammy week in Los Angeles is a time when the world comes together to celebrate the most creative and inspiring efforts of top musicians over the last year. This year, the Grammy Foundation and Audigy Group decided to also help give some children and adults in need the opportunity to enjoy music like never before by partnering with us to give them the gift of hearing.

A star-studded group of volunteers, including skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, musicians Jessica Sanchez, Michael Johns and Dallas Austin, actors Chris and Kyle Massey and Shannon Elizabeth and many more, helped us fit Los Angeles residents with brand-new hearing aids, customized to their hearing loss. Among those excited for the gift of hearing was Irit Streett and her three daughters, 7-year-old Alma, 5-year-old Zohar and 3-month-old Mila. After Irit, Alma and Zohar were fit due to hereditary hearing loss, we gave young Mila her very first hearing test. She passed with flying colors!

It was wonderful to give our friends in Los Angeles the vital connection to life, sound and music that the gift of hearing brings.
